Sweet Peas

Sweet Peas Program is an educational gymnastics program designed to promote physical, social and cognitive development in children 6 months to 4 years old. Founded in educational gymnastics, the Sweet Peas curriculum focuses on age appropriate gymnastics activities that foster coordination, balance, core strength, bilateral awareness and flexibility. Taught in a social, collaborative environment, Sweet Peas provides important life lessons in self-awareness, courage, success and friendship to swing on the bars, balance on the beam, tumble on the floor, run on the vault, bounce on the trampoline, and finish with having fun in the foam pit! Gymnastics is one of the best forms of physical exercise for children, increasing strength, cardiovascular health, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Gymnastics teaches important life lessons such as work ethic, setting goals, and perseverance.

Gymnastics Info
Wee Peas: (6–11 Months) Carefully designed for babies learning to sit and crawl, Wee Peas provides our littlest scooters with active learning activities that focus on whole baby development. We provide fun and delightful cognitive and developmental opportunities in an active learning environment.
3 Peas: (3 year olds) Three Peas are gaining increased motor development, eye hand coordination and fine motor skills! Three Peas is designed to provide a multi-sensory, educational gymnastics experience that provides an active learning platform that will promote brain development, social development and overall well-being.
1 Peas: (1 year olds) The One Pea curriculum is designed to enhance the direct connection between active movement and brain processing. One Peas learn self-awareness and physical adaptation through developmentally appropriate gymnastics activities.
2 Peas: (2 year olds) Two Peas are gaining independence! The Two Peas program is designed to capitalize on the rapidly improving physical, cognitive and language development of two-year olds. The Two Pea curriculum offers opportunities for gross motor skill
4 Peas: (4 year olds) Four Peas can run, hop, climb and throw a ball. Their increasing coordination makes them faster and more deliberate. The Four Peas program provides an educational environment where children can experience active learning, predictable structure, positive peer associations, successful independence from parents and balanced learning.

Recreational Gymnastics

Our girls' recreational classes (ages 5+) teach your child the basics of gymnastics. Children are placed in classes with students of similar age/skill level where they are instructed on every gymnastics event. Learn to swing on the bars, balance on the beam, tumble on the floor, run on the vault, bounce on the trampoline, and finish with having fun in the foam pit! Homeschool

Our Homeschool Program is Co-Ed. Classes are offered throughout the morning most days of the week. The program focuses on building strength, balance, flexibility and coordination through men and women's gymnastics

Ninja Stars

The Ninja Stars program is a coed recreational class. This class offers combination of ninja, parkour, strength training, tumbling, and gymnastics; an all in one class.

 

Tumbling/Cheer

Our Tumbling Program focuses solely on floor. Athletes will build muscle and work on drills to help build tumbling skills like cartwheels, round offs, front and back walk overs and intro to backhand springs and front handspring depending on the specific class.

Axel Strength Training

Axel Strength Training is a dynamic class designed for young athletes who want to build full-body strength, endurance, and agility. This co-ed program blends functional fitness with age-appropriate strength training techniques to improve performance in gymnastics, sports, and everyday movement. Using bodyweight exercises, resistance training, core conditioning, and plyometrics, students develop muscular control, power, and injury prevention skills—all in a motivating and supportive environment. Axel Strength Training is perfect for athletes looking to enhance their abilities or take their training to the next level.

Competitive Teams

Our competitive teams include Cheerleading and Women's Artistic gymnastics. Both teams travel to compete in local and non local meets. Appalachian Stars also hosts 2 meets every year.
